A famous watering hole, often featured in live camera shots during crucial Red Sox games. The Cask 'n Flagon is where Red Sox nation gathers to celebrate or commiserate. Recently featured in the Reebok ad that debuted during the 2007 World Series - Donny Wahlberg sat at the bar here, and Bobby Orr walked by too. Those heading to a game can save a few bucks by filling up on the Cask's straightforward bar fare and skipping the ballpark's expensive snacks. The walls are lined with high-definition TVs and photos that depict the histories of Fenway and the Sox. Locals fill the huge wraparound bar that resides in the middle of the main room while keeping an eye on all the sports news via an ever-present sports ticker. The Cask has some of the city's most aggressive bouncers--be on your best behavior.

This sports bar sits just on the edge of Fenway Park. If you can't get tickets to the game, you can watch it from the roof deck here with it's mini version of the Green Monster and feel like your as close as you can get. It's got your classic bar food menu (wings, burgers, beers) and a friendly atmosphere. A great place to watch the game for the more traditional Fenway bar experience. The crowd here is generally a bit older than at Game On.

Upscale casual dining using seasonally inspired foods. There is a large bar area (perfect for before a Sox game), the indoor dining room and some outdoor space as well (facing Boylston Street). You can do a take out order too.
Located in the heart of the Fenway and the Longwood Medical Area, it's the perfect location for power lunching, socializing after work in their modern-upscale lounge area, dining the night away on Executive Chef Denise Baron’s upscale and eclectic America fare or simply having cocktails with friends. The 280-seat restaurant also boasts a seasonal outdoor patio and there's always plenty of on street parking, as well as, affordable garage parking.
The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Ok, the name is a little weird. The original Cambridge, 1 is in the old Cambridge Fire Station #1 in Harvard Square. After Trilogy opened they started a second location here in the Fenway, but kept the name and the same menu. Known for thin-crust pizzas, there is a big seating area and also a good sized bar. When you walk in, you smell that wood smoke - ahh!

The lone Japanese entry on Fenway's "Restaurant Row" (Peterborough St.), Umi caters to locals and penny-pinching students with fresh, affordable Japanese cuisine. With its authentic decorations, comfortable seating and inviting colors, the charming dining area make guests feel welcome. An impressive selection of sushi and maki will please even the most finicky diner in terms of both texture and taste. A generous selection of teriyaki and noodle dishes is available for the non-sushi lover or vegetarian. Fresh ingredients and one of the best Mexican joints in town! After a fire kept them closed down for a very long time, they're back in business. Stop by El Pelon for one of their famous burritos, such as the El Guapo, fish tacos or caramelos tacos. Wash it all down with their freshly-made horchata or agua de jamaica drinks.
El Pelon is an affordable, neighborhood favorite for $5 meals.
Tip: Keep an eye on the Sox schedule. When there's a game, parking will be impossible to come by, and lines may be long. And remember, you can bring your burritos into the park (just no drinks).

Local neighborhood restaurant, Rod-Dee serves up thai cuisine in their cozy dining room. Rod-Dee Thai has been featured in the Boston Phoenix and in Thai newspapers like "Thaitown", both praising their Thai food as authentic and tasty. Though it's not any more expensive than other restaurants on Peterborough Street, the portions are significantly larger. Although they don't accept credit cards, there is an ATM inside. They also do deliveries to those that live in the Fenway area.
They have another location in Brookline, find it here.

The newest in this chain of neighborhood ethnic restaurants, Greek Isles brings you the flavors of the Mediterranean. Their food is unlike most you will find in Boston, with Appetizers like Skordalia - Garlic-potato puree and olive oil dip - and dinners like Pastitsio, layers of ziti and ground beef topped with cheesy custard. Lunch specials are tasty and cheap - always under $7.00 - and hey also offer desserts, making it the best place in the area to get homemade Baklava. They even have Galaktobouriko!
Hours 11am - 10 pm daily.

Thornton's is a bar and grill that offers American food on a block known for its restaurant diversity: Peterborough Street. Though traditional, the menu is large - guests can choose from a number of appetizers, burgers, salads, sautees, and fish entrees - and the food is excellent. Vegetarians are catered to, with portions of the menu highlighting meatless options, and some of their meatless items are their best - try the hummus! Weather permitting, you can sit outside and sip on a beer - domestics cost $3, and draft beers like Samuel Adams Boston Lager and Harpoon IPA only cost $3.75. Though it's a bit of a hike from the park, Thorton's Fenway Grill is a great place to go before or after a game.
Street parking is permit only for the most part, so circling the block 3-4 times is usually to be expected, but there is a covered lot nearby: Boston:Deaconess Garage

Ken Oringer-led taqueria and bar fills the Lansdowne St. space previously held by the Tiki Room.
2008 Food & Wine Go List. This Fenway mexican joint is located incredibly close to the park and gets quite busy before games. However, it is not busy post game start and is open for lunch and dinner with reasonable prices.
