This popular Financial District haunt is popular among the suit-and-tie crowd longing for a quick bite to eat. Deli One serves traditional breakfast fare ranging from home fries to pancakes to eggs. Their lunch menu is extremely Greek-centric with Mediterranean-style sandwiches and dishes.
Au Bon Pain means the place of good bread in French. Au Bon Pain is a stylish bakery café located at America's urban junctions and suburban crossroads.
Steakhouse with a loungey/huntinglodge/niteclub look. Above Nine Zero Hotel. KO has been remodeled completely. The atmopshere is very modern and romantic. It's dark but not too dark, with candles on the table and a cool ceiling which has 2 layers and circular cut-outs revealing pieces of famous paintings. Soothing music in the background - you can still have a decent conversation with whom you are spending time with. Sunday night, however, is funky night at KO prime. The retro vibe was in full swing with Barry White tunes, bartenders in wigs and some funky fresh antler chandeliers.
The long line is worth the wait. The homemade bread is delicious, all of the topings make for a delicous combination which will, in many cases, have you instantly hooked. They take an assembly line approach and due to the usual lines, they move quickly, so they wont have time to greet you and some people may find it rude - I don't agree - it's just the system. If you like an extra "kick", ask for extra spicy.

Chopped designer salads? You bet. This Financial Street gem is a hidden hotspot for herbivores looking to satisfy their salad-as-a-meal fix. Hidden behind a grand glass facade at 100 Federal Street, Boston's Wild Greens boasts Wolfgang Puck goodies ranging from robustly prepared soups to vegan-approved salads. Wild Greens also has daily specials--like an awe-inspiring fajita bar on Thursdays and a daily breakfast menu where the chef prepares a larger-than-usual meal as you wait. While a bit on the pricey side, Wild Greens doesn't hold back with its portions (be prepared to walk back to your office with a doggie bag). And, to top off an above-average lunch experience, Wild Greens boasts outdoor seating next to a sculpture garden. Score!
The appeal of Beacon Hill’s Hi Spot Deli is that it’s an anomaly in an area of over-priced fare including the uber-chic Mooo and Scollay Square. Looking for a quality lunch at a reasonable price? This downtown Boston fave is the place to go. Once you make it through the lines of eager patrons—they have a stellar selection of deli goodies including a killer Reuben sub and their “signature plate” which is a salsa-infused chicken creation with rice pilaf. For those looking for greasy spoon alternative, Hi Spot also serves up pizza.
Great place to grab a lamb kabob roll-up or a Greek salad. Located across from the Boston Commons and near the Loews Theatre, Bagel Cafe Plus is perfect for those looking for healthy food on the go and also has cafe-style seating and daily specials. Try their Mediterranean wrap, a reasonably priced alternative to fast food that's chock full of marinated chicken, roasted peppers and hummus.
