The Barnes and Noble here is incorporated into the 5 story BU Bookstore. If you can't find it here, you haven't looked. Here's a rundown of the offerings on each floor:
  • First Floor - Starbucks Cafe/Barnes & Noble (fiction + magazines)/BU Clothing and Gifts
  • Second Floor - Barnes and Nobles (non-fiction)/Restrooms
  • Third Floor - School and Office Supplies/Gifts and Cards/Dormshop = Furniture and Housewares
  • Fourth Floor - Textbooks
  • Fifth Floor - Barnes & Noble (specialized books)/Event Location
The Starbucks is associated with the Barnes & Noble which means it has a slightly different menu than a "regular" Starbucks. As Boston's biggest Barnes & Noble and with the affiliation with BU, this location draws big-time authors in for readings. Check out the calendar on their website for who is coming to speak.
Textbook sales here are for Boston University, Boston Architectural Center and the Art Institute of Boston.

Shelton Hall was originally an apartment-style hotel and was one of the first Sheraton Hotels. Since the 1950s, it has been a residence and dinning hall of Boston University. The playwright Eugene O'Neill died here (in the hotel not the dorm).
