Forget your toothpaste, cleaning supplies, or grab a soda on the go? Stop in at Nora's for all those nicknacks. They have lottery tickets if you're feelin' lucky, and think you might be able to afford the high cost of Back Bay rent. It's on the lower level- but hard to miss.

Pour House is refreshingly reasonable, friendly, and free of ostentation. If you're seeking a place to be rowdy with other college kids, look no further than its brick walls and dark-wood booths. Food is the usual pub grub (huge hamburgers and club sandwiches), except cheaper. Th features half-priced Mexican entrees and Sa half-priced burgers. With 2 levels of eclectic and fun music and cheap bottled beer (from $3), there really isn't anywhere more congenial for a casual barfly night in the Back Bay.

In the midst of Newbury Street's pretension lies a gem of a bar, home to cheap beer ($3-5), shots ($6-7), and cocktails ($6.50), as well as a rowdy, notably un-Newbury St. crowd. Named after the golden girl of The Great Gatsby, Daisy's has managed not only to stand the test of time but also to stay on top. Also known as the Dirty Flower, this cozy, wood-paneled space gets packed almost every night of the week with a mixed college and twenty-something crowd, all on the prowl. Sa nights are jammed, so come on time; expect lines on weekends in the summer and fall. Even Boston's pro athletes stop by from time to time. There's also a kitchen (sandwiches $6-9) with some well priced specials ($5). No cover. This section contains information from Harvard Student Agencies' Unofficial Guide to Life at Harvard.

This Store 24 is a bit scary late at night - some "unsavory characters" frequent it. But in daylight, it offers all the things you expect in a convenience store at the slightly higher prices you also expect at a convenient store!

Open late, Marlboro Market is one of the few markets that sells alcohol and a large variety of wine/beer (alcohol/wine/beer sales stop at 11pm). It carries your basic everyday necessities, and also has a small movie selection downstairs.

This is a liquor store plus (more than the average "packy"). Sort of a cross with a convenience store so you can pick up more of what you need besides the booze! They also act as a Western Union Agent location and can help you wire money.

Symphony Mart is a small convenience store on the corner of Boylston and Hemenway St. They have everything - including a small assortment of hookahs, rare international food, and other random necessities. It is a local favorite for its prime location and 24/7 status. There is also an ATM inside.
