A nice atmosphere vs. it's sometimes grundgy counterparts, Bauer's specializes in nice wines- seperated by region. The friendly staff give great wine advice, but the selection of alcohol is limited.

New Knits and Jackets in, make sure you get yours today!
Vintage tattoo wear on Newbury Street? You bet.
Officially opening in December 2008, this chain sells both clothing and accessories inspired by tattoo artist Don Ed Hardy, the grandfather of the modern tattoo. The Newbury Street store highlights 2,000 sq. ft. of Ed Hardy designs and boasts a Coney Island-esque rock 'n' roll aesthetic.
Spearheaded by lifestyle designer Christian Audigier, an innovator who first won over celebs with his Von Dutch brand back in 2004, the new Ed Hardy boutique in Boston promises to jolt Newbury Street into submission with its colorful designs and edgy atmospherics.
Oh, and the LA-style clothes and sunglasses are killer as well.

Although it boasts over 100 varieties of rainbow-colored, flavored, and textured prophylactics, Condom World does most of its business in foreplay and innuendo, with products ranging from furry handcuffs ($15) to rubber cat-o-nine-tails ($5), glow-in-the-dark and edible body paints ($11), edible undies ($5), and board games ($30). The international top-selling condom, Kimono (the world's thinnest), goes for $5 per 3-pack, Crown Japanese condoms $10 per 15-pack, and Rough-Rider studded rubbers 3 for $3. It also sells novelty condoms ($2 each), such as camo condoms (don't let them see you coming). Condom World is usually overrun by sheepish, titillated couples giggling at the various self-pleasurizers ($15-$98). A G(reat)-spot to bring that special someone for some quality bondage—err, bonding.
