Smith and Wollensky is an upscale steak and seafood restaurant located in the Bay Village area of Boston. Smith and Wollensky is located in one of Boston's historic landmarks that is known to many as "the castle." The space has been restored meticulously to recapture the integrity and beauty of the original millwork, masonry, and wrought iron ornamental work. While Smith and Wollensky is primarily known for the steaks, things like seafood and other meats are great as well. Smith and Wollensky's menu is a la carte, meaning that you order the meat you want and then order a few sides for the table. Sides such as "Truffled Macaroni and Cheese" are served family style so that everyone can indulge. The menu also includes things such as Oysters ($9), World Famous Split Pea Soup ($6) and Thin Crust Pizza ($9-12). The wine list is extensive, featuring over 500 wines.

Aujourd'hui is closing on June 27th; afterward it will only be available for private functions[1]
Forget Rialto when you really want to lay it on thick, head to Aujourd'hui. Perched above the Public Garden in the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel, Aujourd'hui's old-money-coated dining room and immaculate service make every customer feel like royalty (probably because most of them are). The food follows through as well, with a constantly changing menu that never falls flat (entrees $30+). Don't miss the lobster bisque with butternut squash; the rabbit is especially succulent. Reservations required, and although jacket no longer is required for service, it is highly suggested.

UPDATE: This hotspot recently has been refurbished and outfitted with a classy new bar. Score!

Fantastic room and fun but not crazy atmosphere. Dark wood and gas lights. Marble bathrooms with 1000 thread count water basin napkins. Great bread basket and great service. Kind of neat to watch them reset tables - the person that does it is almost like a magician in his own way! Grab a few drinks at Cuffs across the street, then stroll in here for a fine steak. Seriously, just get the steak even if the menu offers seafood. It's the steak you want. Did I mention the steak?
Grill23 & Bar offers a dynamic weekly menu. Visit the website to learn more about its history and the special events! From juicy porterhouses to lobster thermidor, there menu is inclusive and trustworthy. Try the truffle mac and cheese. Boston:Image:Pigalle

Founded by husband and wife team Marc Orfaly and Kerri Foley, and nestled between Boston’s Theatre District and Bay Village, Pigalle is a mom-and-pop restaurant of the highest quality. Orfaly’s French-influenced menu combines traditional Parisian bistro fare with pan-Asian flavors that include the Middle East. Pigalle’s intimate dining room is perfect for theatergoers looking for something special or a couple longing for that romantic night out.
Kind of a weird location, small little side street with nothing else really " cute" near it, however the restaurant itself was really charming!
Come here in spring/summer for $1 oysters! They will validate your parking if you park next door at Radisson Hotel.

Troquet is a great find. Delicious food with wine pairing options for each course by dish. Excellent service and great presentation. The upstairs dining room is a unique setting overlooking Boston Common while the first floor has a sophisticated Wine Bar. The kitchen's open 'til 11! You can tell too, since it's completely exposed in the upstairs dining area and worth showing off; bustling, clean and buzzing with foodie delight.
The size of the restaurant makes you think of a row house - it was multiple floors (2) and narrow and long. There were mirrors hung along the walls - which I assume was to make the space seem less narrow - which works well. Nice, simple decor with lots of cherry colored wood. If you are taking a date there BE SURE to request a window seat. This place defines 'wine and dine'.
