This little ice-cream shop, part of a larger chain, has been perfecting its recipes since the 70s. Homemade concoctions ranging from peanut-butter-chocolate-chip-cookie-dough to Grasshopper Pie and Chocolate Addiction are the unique and fabulously delicious result (1 scoop $3.10, 2 scoops $4.05, 3 scoops $4.50). Low-fat options are just as decadent, with hard yogurt flavors like Milky Way or Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Find Boston Globe's Best Smoothies here as well, including the Rejuvenator, Passion, and Liquid Yoga (soy milk, banana, chai and nonfat vanilla yogurt; $5.75). An extensive juice bar promises healthy add-ins, while cones coated with marshmallows and rice krispies and hot fudge maximize your ratio of sweetness to surface area. Rated the Best Smoothie in town, certainly worth a try if you like smoothies! This section contains information from Harvard Student Agencies' Unofficial Guide to Life at Harvard.

Hungry diners will find a wide variety of thick, creamy "chowdahs," broiled and fried fish dishes, a raw bar, salads, and more. Many people dine here for a "crack" at the lobster (look who's wearing a bib now!).
Legal's offers a children's menu with standards like hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and the like. Here, however, you can also offer your kids a fish platter ($8.95) or fish sticks. They're much better than Mrs. Paul's! Drinks are $1.25 extra, and comes in a great cup you can take home and use again. Kids are also kept busy with crayons and an activity coloring book.

This is the flagship location of Sel de la Terre, which is located on the Boston Waterfront. The rustic french fare is unpretentious and classic, done simply but well, in a great atmosphere with first rate service. The space is warm, light and open, and most of the tables feature comfortable banquette seating. They serve lunch during the week, dinner daily, and brunch on the weekends, and offer a late night menu Wednesday through Saturday until 12:30. Don't miss the fig and anise bread in the bread basket. You can also pick up a loaf in the bakery on your way out.

While patrons have said that Nunzio’s Pizzeria in Boston’s Financial District is more style than substance, everyone agrees that this Italian restaurant in the outskirts of Faneuil Hall boasts some killer pizza. The joint also specializes in subs and wraps including the Aphrodite (roasted turkey, garlic mayo and avocado spread on wheat) and the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. Great lunchtime eatery for those shopping in the Faneuil Hall area.

Wear something tight and make it a night; no hats, ripped jeans, or sneakers. Feel the pumping bass from the speakers on all 3 of Sanctuary's enormous levels, whether you're hanging out in the downstairs VIP lounge or sipping the already famous sangria (5 varieties, $7/glass) at one of the bars upstairs.

Service is friendly and professional during the day, and nicely starched white tablecloths are a plus. The clients are mostly corporate/downtown professionals and some tourists during the day. A safe bet for weekday lunch.
On Thursdays there is a great trivia crowd and then after you can play Rockband 2 in the back.
On Friday and Saturday nights the tablecloths come off and the back room is cleared to make room for the dance floor complete with disco lights and great DJ. Crowd is lively and good looking as are the bartenders who are quick and know what they are doing which is hard to find in night clubs. Great beer selection and with 20 beers on draft and 15 bottle beers which are kept on ice so they are always fresh. No martini list but if you ask, the bartenders will make you anything you can think of or they will surprise you with something new. The $2.50 Bud Lights bottles and $2 Coors Light Drafts are a plus.
