This Brookline branch of the famed
Boston Ginza is consistently rated as one of the better sushi places in the city. And while the sushi is excellent, Ginza is a fully rounded Japanese restaurant, with a menu encompassing hot entrees from a stone grill, Agemono (basically tempura meats), Tempura, and Soba and Udon dishes. They have an expansive array of specialty maki rolls, and a good variety of fish on offer for sushi and sashimi diners.
There are about 30 tables and a sushi bar, so, while the restaurant is medium sized, its location close to Fenway Park on Beacon street is well trafficked, and it can get crowded. Service is pretty prompt and friendly.
