Popular hangout with the business crowd, Brandy Pete’s serves up deli sandwiches and American staples like hamburgers, subs, salads and roast beef. Open since 1933, this pub also boasts a stellar selection of beers and pub grub like fried calamari. During the summer, they open up their doors and offer outdoor seating—a definite Financial District hotspot during lunch. Great place to wine and dine potential clients in a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Vintage Lounge’s ultra-sleek ambience attracts a mix of young professionals, Financial District heavy hitters and collegiate hipsters looking to swill an after-work cocktail and munch on the restaurant’s stunning selection of Spanish appetizers known as tapas. The contemporary couches found near the bar area inspires conversation and the décor almost--but not quite--overshadows the glittery crowd. Definite late-night hotspot that seems more like an exclusive NYC tapas bar than a typical, Beantown haunt.

The Times is a great after work bar to meet your coworkers or friends. Its also a good place to throw a party. The place is large enough that you don't feel suffocated and you can actually get a table. Simple menu but good grub, many beers with a staff that's happy to serve them to you. Fun casual crowd. Lots of open space to mingle without standing on top of someone's chair. There is live music as the night rolls on. A classic Boston pub in the Financial District.

Chopped designer salads? You bet. This Financial Street gem is a hidden hotspot for herbivores looking to satisfy their salad-as-a-meal fix. Hidden behind a grand glass facade at 100 Federal Street, Boston's Wild Greens boasts Wolfgang Puck goodies ranging from robustly prepared soups to vegan-approved salads. Wild Greens also has daily specials--like an awe-inspiring fajita bar on Thursdays and a daily breakfast menu where the chef prepares a larger-than-usual meal as you wait. While a bit on the pricey side, Wild Greens doesn't hold back with its portions (be prepared to walk back to your office with a doggie bag). And, to top off an above-average lunch experience, Wild Greens boasts outdoor seating next to a sculpture garden. Score!

Located at the Intercontinental Boston. 'Innovative sushi menu with the latest twist on pairing sushi with vintage tequila, margaritas, and martinis.' Add in rhythmic blends of Salsa, Kumbia and Merengue and you have the sassiest cross-cultural hang-out in downtown Boston.
The menu is pretty limited and the choices are not really unique. The fish is fresh and well prepared, though, so even if its not that unique, its good sushi. There's not really any 'fusion' food on the menu. But it does mix margaritas and sushi. A list of nearly 70 tequilas can be enjoyed straight, with many vinatge cocktails and margaritas available as well. Between that and the view, it's an interesting, posh spot that's definitely different if that's what you're into, but not so much a keeper. Every Tuesday during the summer, tequila tastings from 6-9 pm

Cosi's make-your-own sandwiches come in one, two, or three toppings, and although they are delicious, they don't come cheap. Kids will love the bread, which is baked in a wood-burning oven before your eyes. It's almost always warm and delicious. Toppings such as curry chicken, smoked salmon, and caramelized onion are in abundance, but standard fare is available, too.
For dessert, try the ultimate "sandwich": marshmellows, Hershey bars, and graham crackers, served with a mini crackling fire and an iron pot for melting.
This location has an outdoor patio and seating area...of of the few in the Financial District.
