The gang makes terrific Italian sandwiches - cold and hot subs. I especially like the Salem Street Italian sub. Fast, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended. Although the address says it's on Franklin St, it's really on Oliver St.

Taken over by new management, the Langham Boston Hotel recently opened BOND, its exclusive restaurant and lounge for the sophisticated, international jet set. Located in the former Federal Reserve Bank originally constructed in 1922, BOND boasts 78 seats in the main dining hall and a cozy, 10-seat bar where nightlife enthusiasts can sip one of their designer cocktails or sample the dessert bar. Can you say swanky? Organizers plan to add an exclusive velvet-rope Mezzanine Lounge area for their VIPs. The nightspot's music is provided by DJ Mario.

Cafe Fleuri, one of the Langham's restaurants, offers a children's menu during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cafe also offers a pregnancy menu for expecting moms, with items such as a Preggy Pizza, a safe Caesar Salad, and a healthy yogurt sorbet banana split. The hotel also features a Saturday Chocolate Bar and Sunday Jazz Brunch.

Located in the heart of downtown Boston. Five-star service. Cafe Fleuri restaurant is home to a power breakfast, Sunday Jazz Brunch, and the wonderful Chocolate Bar buffet.

Not so good for the sushi. Every time I go to a real sushi place, I am reminded of just how crappy the sushi at Jane's really is. Sushi grade fish is not supposed to be chewy, and the rice is not supposed to fall out of the rolls...well, at all, let alone that easily. Rest assured, the folks in the back did not cut their culinary teeth on the bars of Tokyo's finest sushi establishments. That being said, Jane's has a really good salad bar with all the typical items- lettuce, tomato, cukes, peppers etc but it also has seeds, nuts, and fruit. While most of the day Jane's is a standard buffet, after 3:00 PM, everything becomes half off and it then becomes a much more affordable option. The price goes from a little over $5/lb to just about $2.50/lb.

Popular hangout with the business crowd, Brandy Pete’s serves up deli sandwiches and American staples like hamburgers, subs, salads and roast beef. Open since 1933, this pub also boasts a stellar selection of beers and pub grub like fried calamari. During the summer, they open up their doors and offer outdoor seating—a definite Financial District hotspot during lunch. Great place to wine and dine potential clients in a welcoming and comfortable environment.
