Ben Sherman, the ultimate British mod brand famous for its Oxford button-down shirts and Carnaby-style fit, invades Newbury Street in late 2008. They get to wear cool/comfy workout gear to work everyday. This store is g-r-e-a-t for athletes and comfort clothing-seekers alike. Runners.... they have a great program (normally Wednesday nights) for those wanting running partners. They pair people with their running ability and let them loose around Back Bay. Come rain or shine, and the best part.... it's free. Just bring your running shoes, and the want to run.
NikeTown is located right around the corner from the Boston Marathon finish line off Boylston Street. The whole store is decked out with Boston sports memorabilia and lots of street signs from the marathon route. The store includes footwear for runners and non-runners alike. The store features an homage to the Boston Marathon, seats from the old Boston Garden and autographed shoes from Marathon champ Uta Pippig.

A family owned business since 1975, Campers makes practical, Euro-stylish shoes for every sole :) . Comfort is key, and Campers is in the right business. The store is narrow, but the shoes are promptly displayed for the shoe-hunter.

The clothing is simple, stylish, and timeless. Not a "fashion-forward" store, but this is a store to pick up a sweater you'll have for the next 10 years. The collections include playful cardigans (think pastel Picasso on a cardigan). The best part about the store is the low, low prices. (sweaters can run as low as $22 full retail- $15 sale). This is your mother's version of an upscale H&M.
