A Mediterranean Cafe serving up Italian-American cuisine. The menu features a Kobe beef burger (a reasonable $12), traditional pizzas, lobster ravioli, autumn risotto, and a variety of entrees. The atmosphere is modern, sleek, and uppity with silver/white walls and sleek metal accents. The seats are a modernized cork- so that's what they do with the discarded wine corks!. The double sided mirror hides the enormous flat screen when it's not running the latest game.
This is a great new restaurant sure to have crowds gather. If you don't like the food, stick to the great bar drinks (Champagne, favorite fruit, favorite new cocktail- $10). A new favorite all around in the Back Bay...

Fresh ingredients and a creative menu. Although sometimes hard to find on posh Newbury Street, Croma's prices are reasonable and rarely exceed $16 for an entree. Great place for a date night or dinner out with a friend.

Italian restaurant on Boylston. Vinny T's offers typical Italian fare includes pastas, pizzas, and Italian style entrees. Although good, Vinny T's isn't a front runner for a "place to go" for Italian (but who can blame it, it's competing with the North End). A great place for large parties(or friends) and consistent service, but by-pass it for dates or when you're trying to impress someone.

This restaurant is inside the Prudential center. The focus is pizza and light Italian. Good restaurant for the family. Most children are far less adventurous than their adult counterparts. Luckily, CPK has a children's menu. For $4.99, kids 10 and under have a choice of pizza, pasta, or curly mac 'n cheese. Meals come with a drink; dessert can be added for an extra 50 cents.

You don't go here for the decor or the service. You go for the best pizza anywhere -- but only the original is in the North End.

A favorite gathering spot for Boston Europeans and Newbury Socialites. Summer brings those seeking long lunches, and nights have candle lit dinners. The menu features good appetizers and creative pizza combos. Try the sangria. The dine-in space is small, but has a nice dark modern atmosphere. The staff aren't your "warm and cuddley" type, but that does mean its not a great first date place. Advice: stick to the summers for dining in- and do take out in the winter. The mahogany bar serves the best martinis in town from an experienced lot of friendly bartenders and the brick-oven chums out eclectic pizzas and focaccia throughout the day.It is easy to relax at Sonsie and enjoy the classic music that reflects the ambience of the restaurant as day progresses into night.

New at Sonsie, located on the lower level, the Wine Room is the perfect location to enjoy your favorite bottle of wine, cocktail, and sample the menu from Chef Bill Poirier. Open Monday thru Saturday from 6pm to 1 am. 2006 Best of Boston Award Winner.
Part Parisian cafe, part elegant dining experience, Sonsie is an upscale hipster joint located, appropriately enough, on Newbury St. Sonsie sets off your pretension alarms from the moment you enter its dim, orange waiting area, complete with cushy sofas. The deep, fancy dining room allows parties to converse comfortably at mealtimes, while those just taking a shopping break for drinks or “lighter fare” crowd around oval tables in front of huge windows opening onto the street in warmer weather. The menu offers a few varieties of brick oven pizzas ($9-21), pasta ($15), and entrees including seared tuna ($25) and the American standard, a 16-oz. steak ($32). Save room for desserts like chocolate bread pudding ($8), and then enjoy unusual cocktails such as iced chai ($10.50) at the bar. Valet parking after 6pm. Entrees $17-32. Reservations recommended. Wireless internet.

This restaurant is across from the Prudential Mall. Uno's in Uno's, there isn't much more to say about the chain deep-dish pizza place. The most interesting thing about this location, however, is that they now serve breakfast. It's basically an a-la-carte breakfast (cereal, croissants, coffee, tea, fruit) with a menu for things like eggs and pancakes.
