Posh Radius has everything most of its upscale competitors lack: classic but hip style; unpretentious, out-of-this-world service, and food so good it'll make you weak at the knees. Radius restlessly reinvents its menu every month, and will personalize 6- and 9-course tasting menus ($85 and $125). The soothing red glow softens the minimalist dining room, and the attention to detail extends from meticulously prepared dishes that resemble works of art to bud vases in individual bathroom stalls. While the prices may be steep, don't expect anything other than top-notch at Radius. Appetizers $12-17. Entrees $27-42. In the shadow of the now defunct and much sketchier Martin's Townhouse is Biddy Early's, a divey financial district standby with a diverse clientele. Totally dependent on the office lunch and after-work crowd (they close on weekend evenings) Biddy's offers good service and good value. Step inside on the lunchbreak rush and you will notice that the bar is packed with various people, like bikers to verizon union workers to businessmen. The bartender, Neimh is awsome. She is at the top of her game everyday. Never forgeting about anyone, even when the house is packed!! An upscale dive with buckets of beer at $15 for 5 bottles, Juke box, decent food at lunch and dinner.

E&C is part of a chain of English-style pubs. Think beer, fish 'n chips, shepard's pie, wood, brass. Features a list of over 100 beers and an extensive list of Scotch whisky. The E&C Boston is located in the heart of Boston's Financial District. Conveniently located within blocks of historic Faneuil Hall, Qunicy Market, Old South Meeting House and The Freedom Trail. This place packs 'em in at lunch. A little know fact about E&C Boston is that the flow of the Great Molasses Flood of 1919 actually stopped at 161 Devonshire Street which is now home to E&C. Come here at 6:30 pm on Tuesday evenings will offer some traditional food - at moderate prices and engaging trivia. There is a fine selection of drinks, which is great for the refined crowd that frequent the trivia nights.

Kingston Station is hidden away in a cross section of the Financial District, Chinatown, and the Leather District but it's worth checking out, it took the space of the old Peking Tom's. As for the atmosphere- the decor is understated and classy/ casual. White tiles, red leather booths, cafe tables. The music was a chill mixture of 80s to current, with live jazz being performed on the weekends from time to time. Is hopping as an after work watering hole, and busy on the weekends as well. Known as a great bar to rent out for special functions.

Swank and surprisingly stentorian Vinalia (Latin for Festival of Wines) is part upscale restaurant and part wine bar that serves Mercer fare at Baine prices. The Crab Fritters with Napa Cabbage Cole Slaw ($12) and Steak Tartare ($10) are traditional introductions to the sumptuous Lobster Risotto ($27) and Veal Chop ($34), and the desserts (chocolate molten cake $7) are pedestrian but delicious. Intercontinental Boston's RumBa is a rum-themed specialty bar celebrating Boston's historic rum trade. The pewter bar displays an exclusive collection of vintage rums showcased on recessed shelves, back lit, to reflect its warm and inviting colors. RumBa features a cut block mesquite wood floor, a Venetian plaster ceiling, and two plasma screen TV's. Rumba is a great place for an after dinner cocktail or latte and on the night we were there (Thursday night) it got fairly hoppin'. The mysterious Champagne Bar, with its hidden "Moulin Rouge" theme, emanates deep reds, burgundies and cabaret colors. This bar is private, secluded and only accessible through sliding mahogany wooden doors.

Open for lunch and dinner, the menu consists of everything from the lauded tuna tartare and crispy salmon, to "not your mom's meatloaf", and classic fish and chips. They also have a variety of pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers, and sides. The Good Life believes in supporting local artists by showcasing their art on the walls, which are available for purchase. Entertainment is a large part of the scene here with DJ's performing throughout the month. The music selection ranges from down tempo electronic, deep sexy house, mash ups, rock ‘n' roll, reggae, funk & soul, dub step, and hip hop. Private parties are a popular option as the Good Life can accommodate food, drink, and music for up to 200 people. Their Event Coordinator, Callie Laquidara, will prepare an event catered to your needs utilizing the Good Life's dynamic space. The downstairs Vodka Lounge is a more intimate setting and more suitable for larger groups. This area was created for a more private space with more of a cocktail and small plate backdrop. The upstairs dining room is the perfect location for smaller events.

Open since 1933, this pub also boasts a stellar selection of beers and pub grub like fried calamari.
