Class offerings are not those that one encounters in other yoga studios, and include Tai Chi, DahnMuDo (non-combative martial art), Stretching, Vibration, Mixed Flow, and Intestine classes designed to rid the body of toxins accumulated in the intestinal tract. Su Haeng sessions on awakening the individual spirit are available after completing the once monthly offering of Shim Sung, an awakening of the soul exercise.
The focus of Dahn practice differs from other Yoga practice in its intense focus on the brain, by creating the tools necessary to improve the health and well being of the individual, family, and society as a whole. The Copley Square BSC is a great addition to this ever expanding empire of fitness. With a junior Olympic sized pool, a spinning studio, a yoga and pilates studio, and a separate aerobics studio with a bevy of classes to offer, this is not your traditional boring gym. The palatial Copley Plaza Hotel has been one of Boston's most prestigious landmarks since 1912. It offers the usual luxuries—a gym, bars, and restaurants and the notable Oak Room restaurant has won awards for the “Best Steaks in Boston.” Each room is furnished with “period antique reproductions,” private bars, and modern communications services.
