MA:Image:379 Club 1
The 379 club is Boston's first luxury barber-spa, providing the very finest in personal grooming services for men, including modern barbering, hand and foot detail, therapeutic massage and more. This is a fresh modern take on the classic barbershop, but with high-end salon amenities and a sleek men’s club feel.
Come in and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, and play a round of pool or a game of darts with the fellas. You’ll be offered a complimentary coffee or beverage while you wait for your treatments. Play video games from leather chairs in the VIP room. Or bring your laptop and chill in the lounge while you take advantage of our free WiFi. Then, sink into your choice of 379’s relaxing and indulgent treatments: the latest haircuts, expert hot lather shaves, hand and foot detailing, or a therapeutic massage all will make you look and feel great.
This is a prime location for staging the big group events in a guy’s life: boys-to-men clean-up before the prom, fraternity events, the bachelor’s party kick-off, the groomsmen’s pre-wedding pit-stop. (Brides-to-be: investing in the "Groomsmen’s Package" shows him and his boys some love while ensuring every groomsman in your wedding photos turns out looking his best.) It’s even a great place to meet and hang out before a Red Sox game—transportation in style for the whole entourage to and from Fenway can be arranged. 379 Club offers male bonding and networking at its best. Ladies are welcome too! Check the website regularly for upcoming events.
Walk-ins welcome, trial membership available. Try the full menu of salon services or save big-time by choosing one of four great membership packages. Gift certificates are available. T accessible: Green Line, B train/Harvard Ave. Partially wheelchair accessible. Street Parking.

Kingston Station is hidden away in a cross section of the Financial District, Chinatown, and the Leather District but it's worth checking out, it took the space of the old Peking Tom's. As for the atmosphere- the decor is understated and classy/ casual. White tiles, red leather booths, cafe tables. The music was a chill mixture of 80s to current, with live jazz being performed on the weekends from time to time. Is hopping as an after work watering hole, and busy on the weekends as well. Known as a great bar to rent out for special functions.

Hotel

Although it does not appear hip and happening on the outside, the Colonnade presents an extravagant interior. All of their rooms are luxurious, and the location can not be beat. The piece de resistance of the Colonnade is their rooftop pool and happening bar, the only in Boston. They also boast an expanded fitness club, a French restaurant, and indoor parking ($36 per night).
The Colonnade Hotel, conveniently located near the Shops at the Prudential Center, Copley Place, Prudential Skywalk, Museum of Fine Arts, and Fenway Park, is a good bet for families on the go.
It offers accommodations (two double beds) for up to two adults and two children. If you need to bring Fido along, he can cozy up in a Colonnade dog bed. Perks include the ever-popular fanny pack stuffed with goodies, and a terrific family restaurant, Brasserie Jo. Kids will love the Colonnade's Roof Top Pool www.rooftoppool.com, but don't plan on taking a dip when it's chilly outside - this pool is seasonal. When swimming is not an option, the hotel's cable channels include Disney and Nickelodeon.
The hotel has on-site parking (a big plus in Boston), and a late checkout at 2pm, both subject to availability.

Good music, bad art on the walls, dudes with long, unkempt hair making tasty coffee based beverages, graffiti on the bathroom walls that's never removed, etc. Your typical urban coffee shop.
