They make some of the best sandwiches available anywhere, and stock a range of the highest quality Italian meats and cheeses in addition to their homemade delicacies like meatballs and chicken Parmesan. With a huge selection of bakery favorites--cookes, tiramisu, cakes, tarts--as well as Asian specialties--scallion buns, green tea cakes--this lovely bakery is chock full of treats to tempt and surprise you. Many buns and treats cost less than a dollar, although prices increase steeply for the decorated cakes and such. Tips: wear loosely fitted clothes and bring an appetite for adventure. Cash only.
