Professional, clean, friendly, attentitive. This salon in Chinatown has been recently highlighted and reviewed, so it is safe to say that the secret might be out, this salon is a great find and does solid work at the right price. Haircuts include a scalp massage to get you relaxed and the flat screens that accompany every work station play chinese pop music and DVD's. The salon is clean, modern and you really can't beat $30 in Boston for a great haircut that includes a scalp massage.

The staff is very friendly, they had all of the hot nail colors from Essie and OPI, and they do a great job with nails. And for only $30 for a mani/pedi, it's a great deal!

Don't expect them to spend more than 10 mins working on your hair either. It's quick and dirty. You get all sorts going there from businessmen to cops. Most leave looking like the got their hair cut with a tomahawk.
This basement barbers costs about $15. It's best to call in advance to reserve your time and even still you might be waiting up to 10 mins. It gets pretty busy there at lunchtime.
There's usually 4 barbers working away. Some of them are nice (Sal) while one guy just looks a little odd. It's an experience.
