The Coop (as it is commonly known) is a retail store owned by its members: Harvard and MIT students, faculty, staff, and other affiliates. Founded in 1882, The Coop operates student-oriented stores offering a wide selection of textbooks, general-interest books, office supplies, stationary, music, prints and school insignia merchandise, including Harvard and MIT gear. Members are entitled to annual rebates based on their purchases; all for a $1 annual fee. You do not have to be a member to shop here, however. Anyone affiliated with Harvard may join by going to the Cashier's Office in one of the seven Coop locations and paying a $2 annual membership fee. Other locations include: the MIT Coop in Kendall Square, MIT Coop at Stratton, Business Coop at Spangler, Law School Coop at Pound Hall, and the Medical Coop on Longwood Avenue in Boston. The tend not to answer their phones during normal business hours.

The Emmanuel College bookstore is located within the campus Administration Building on the Plaza Level. Emmanuel has handed over the operation of the bookstore to eFollett, a large national textbook and e-book distributer. Besides books, the EC bookstore also carries campus-themed apparel and souvenirs, as well as various convenience items. This location also will buy textbooks back at the end of every semester for a highly depreciated price. While they may not offer the best prices for these books, students have the option of receiving a gift card or store credit instead of cash. When used these gift cards typically yield an additional 10% off purchases made in-store or on eFollet's website.. The Emmanuel College Bookstore allows customers to pay with all major credit cards, cash, and Fenway Cash.

Boloco is a "healthy" fast food joint, with many locations throughout Boston. They specialize in burritos and smoothies, however, they also serve salads. This restaurant has about ten, two seater tables, and a window bar. They offer creative, fresh burritos. If you are tech savvy, you can order online before you arrive- for either take-out or eat-in. The food is made quickly, as they are used to serving doctors and professionals on the go. Hours are Monday-Friday 7am-9pm, and Saturday/Sunday 7am-6pm. They serve breakfast as well! Boloco has been rated the Best of Boston by Boston Magazine for 2007 and 2008.

The Longwood Galleria is a favorite destination of hungry medical professionals and Harvard students in the Longwood Area. Despite its name, the Galleria is not so much a mall as a food court. It hosts a variety of fast food options like Subway, McDonald's, and Sbarro. If you're a more adventurous eater, there are "exotic" options like Sushi Net and Sami's Wrap and Roll. And, of course, you can top your meal off with dessert at Dairy Queen. The Galleria is also home to a CVS (that accepts Fenway cash) as well as other small businesses and offices located above and below the Galleria proper.

This is a popular branch of the CVS/Pharmacy. This pharmacy is located WITHIN Children's Hospital Boston. It is a convienant location for parents who are picking up prescriptions for their children. CVS also carries health and beauty products, snacks, sundries, cards and a selection of gifts. Pharmacy Hours = Daily 8am-8pm

This CVS, located within the Longwood Galleria, is a convenient stop for anyone who lives in the Longwood or Fenway area. Though the space it occupies is actually quite small, CVS still caters to all your health, beauty, convenience, and prescription needs. The pharmacy staff is incredibly patient and tends to keep customers moving through despite very long lines.
