The Butterfly Cafe is one of Mission Hill's hidden gems. They have recently remodeled in the past few years and are located right inside the Roxbury Crossing T stop. They have a great selection of gourmet coffees and teas- as well as awesome baked goods, sandwiches, and salads(during lunch). This cafe is a great place to sit, and open the laptop (free wi-fi!).

Welcome to Mission Hill's official greasy spoon restaurant! This establishment is known for its greasy, piping hot, super fast breakfast fare. If you are looking for a breakfast that will go down easy, try out this place! Watch out though, they close at 2pm (even on the weekends!).

In 1981, JP Licks opened it's first ice cream joint in Jamaica Plain. The rest is history. JP Licks can be found in seven locations throughout the Boston area, however, the newest shop is at the Brigham Circle shopping center in Mission Hill. All ice cream and frozen yogurt is homemade at the Jamaica Plain location, and they even roast their own coffee! They have all the traditional flavors, as well as some innovative ones like "Cherry Ortiz," "Cappicino Cruch," "Coffee Oreo," and "Cow Trax" Go check them out....
