With so many places to choose from when it comes to a quick, cheap eat, Il Mondo should be at the top of your list. really. Their menu is nothing but creative and titillating concoctions of quirky and yummy ingredients (think goat cheese and pesto sauce). For around 2 dollars, you can get one very large slice of gourmet pizza with the best not-too-soft, not-too-crispy crust and topped with fresh sauce and toppings. However-if you're looking for a romantic cheap date, this is not your place. Slightly lacking in their decor, this is great take-out, run-out place where you can eat your pizza in a slightly more cozy environment. (There's a nice little park a block away called Puddingstone Park with an amazing skyline view of the city that might prove a better place to enjoy your delicious pizza).

Tremont House of Pizza is your typical pizza joint, but they also feature a number of seafood dishes. This one is very popular with Mission Hill's many college students. They are known for their very affordable prices, which is important since they are located in the college residence hub! Because they serve Greek-style pizza, their pizza crust is thin; if you are looking for a thicker crust, you may want to look elsewhere.

Ak's Take-Out and Delivery is one of Mission Hill's hidden gems. While Ak's food wouldn't exactly fall into the gourmet category, they offer a huge array of pizza, subs, salads, and more that are kind to your tastebuds and your wallet. The pizza - the crust is thick and chewy, although the toppings, as with the calzones, are plentiful. The best part of these calzones are the size. They may seem a little expensive, but that is because the large is literally a giant pizza folded in half. They are massive and can last up to 3 days in leftovers due to volume. Their large subs start at about six dollars, while their large pizzas start at eight dollars. Ak's also has some excellent dinner packages that are, like their other fare, generously portioned and inexpensive. This is a great choice for any college student with a limited budget but a bottomless stomach, as their prices are much cheaper than their competitors and their portions are more than generous. The only downside to Ak's fantastic and fast delivery service is their minimum delivery of ten dollars, as well as an additional $1.50 charge for delivery. Ak's is open every day from 11 AM to Midnight. However, beware: There is no seating at the actual restaurant, so you'd do well to stick to takeout!

This is a brand new restaurant that will be coming to Mission Hill within the next few months! They will serve authentic Italian foods as well as wine and beer. They will offer dining-in, take-out, and a catering service. This will be Mission Hill's first real Italian restaurant! WooHoo!

Penguin Pizza is your typical pizza shop. They serve up saucy, cheesy slices of goodness for a great price. Their menu also includes a variety of pastas, paninis, salads, and wraps.
Penguin Pizza is open Mon - Fri: 11am - 1am and Sat & Sun: 12pm - 1am. They will also delivery during the following hours: Mon-Fri 12pm-2pm, 4pm-10pm, Sat-Sun 4pm-10pm. Their website has a fax order form that you can download and fax in to them! A great spot to check out if you are in the mood for a late night snack or meal.

Chacho's Pizza and Subs is a small pizza joint located in Mission Hill. They are known for their affordable prices, and serve up your basic pizza's and subs, as well as wings, and some ethnic items. If you are looking for a greasy slice of pepperoni pizza, and are in the neighborhood, you may want to check out Chacho's.

This is the spot that used to be Huntington Seafood (which was amazingly good and cheap) SO those of you who are still in mourning might need some reassurance that it is OK to still see these guys for your fried fix. Not the best fish & chips in town anymore but they are pretty stand up and the serving size is clearly not intended to skinny you up. Their burgers are impressive, nice big fatties, with bacon and all the fixins for $3.50 - not bad. The atmosphere is really bad, well boring, so unless you are in Brigham Circle and want to try them just get the delivery. The menu doesn't deviate much from your standard pizza/sub/salad/crazy delicious appetizers. There's a nice assortment of wrap sandwiches if you feel like pretending to be healthy. Disregarding, of course, the fact that said wrap is stuffed fulla meat, sauce, and cheese with perhaps a smattering of veggies. Ditto for the salads. However, it's not entirely impossible to get something at least fairly healthy here, provided you're not totally ignorant about nutrition.

Domino's Pizza. Cheap, quick, and fills you up when you are hungry.

This shop is your traditional pizza, sub, wing, basic pasta place. Right near Punter's Pub, so it's a perfect stop for when you have the munchies. While the restaurant is quite run down, lacks cleanliness, and has had continuous health violations, it has it defenders. Think cheap food, cheap eats. You get what you pay for.
