Adam's Pizza and Convenience Store is just that: a convenience store with a pizza shop inside. A little sketchy, and open late: Adam's draws a diverse crowd. However, he well serves the Faneuil Hall bar community at 2 am and serves slices at $2 a pop.

Convenience store that does double duty by providing the public at large with tacky Boston tourist items. Because, you know, there's not enough of that out there. Don't expect the friendly treatment when you walk in the door, because this place is all down to business about getting the locals their fix of lottery tickets and cigarettes. If you can't find something yourself, forget about asking where it is, you might as well just turn around and go home empty handed. That's the great thing and the bad thing about it: nobody cares about you. First of all..it's not a convenience store..it's a neighborhood store (there IS a difference) Second..there is no keno. Third..we are very friendly (well, except for one employee) ..and great music I might add. Fourth..we do not carry tacky tourist items. 2 T-shirts that's it. And fifth...(pay attention here)... if you ARE an idiot..we treat you like an idiot. Tha ownah

The Golden Goose Market on the Waterfront of Boston's North End is a small high end grocery. Although it has pretty much everything that the average city dweller might need, it is offered in smaller quantities and at a higher price. They also have a wine shop in the back of the store as well as a section for prepared foods and a full Boar's Head deli. So much more than just a convenience store, this place offers high-end selections and old fashioned personal service. They are fully stocked with many prepared dishes, such as fresh cooked chicken and pizza. They also provide a salad bar, liquor, deli, and a large cheese and meat section. Sandwiches only cost about six bucks, but the ultimate meal deal at the Golden Goose is their half-pound Angus Beef Burger for just $4.99. Don't go there for the veggies here, which are okay but there's better to be found elsewhere. Be sure to stop in for the early Friday night wine tastings. You get to try about 4-5 wines, snack on some cheese and crackers, and get a good education about the wines being served. $5 minimum on credit/debit card purchases.

Here's where you will get your genuine Italian limoncello! Wine tastings on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5pm until close. This place has a very 'boutique' look, as they paid careful attention to design and display. However, they are very friendly and the owners will give you flawless recommendations and also own Green Cross Pharmacy.
