New South End spot on the eastern end of Tremont Street. Owned by the same family as Rome Pizza next door. European style cafe is the concept. Making famous pizzas since 1986, Nicole's is known for their one of a kind pizza. Nicole's also cooks up some tasty chicken tenders and wings which come in numerous mouth watering flavors. It doesn't end there! Fresh salads, wraps, dinners and even home made baked goods. They only have six tables, so it's odd to stand around there waiting for your food. The beverage cooler sports soda, octoberfest, sutter home and gatorade, something for everybody. The walls are decorated with framed pictures of Beirut and Boston. Nicole's has been voted Boston and South End's best pizza, salads, falafels and cheap eats. The restaurant definitely has a pizza specialty but also serves a delicious chicken parmagiana sandwich, salads, home made pastas, and fish tacos. They serve ice cream as well, and have many flavors to choose from. The pizza is cooked in a flaming brick oven, that you can see from inside of the restaurant! The Boston Globe praised the decor as "quaint, brightly lit, and secretly upscale", but dismissed the "charred yet underbaked" pizzas^[1].
