“Everybody knows your name,” but nobody knows how to tell the tourists that this overpriced restaurant-cum-souvenir-shop is a waste of their time and money. Cultivating neighborhood pub atmosphere, proprietor John Kiley has crafted a bar where Frasier would feel at home and Niles would nervously wipe his brow. The crowd, mostly Beacon Hill locals loyal to their “town pub”, enjoy good company and chummy conversation (read: if you're looking for that crazy bar scene, head elsewhere). Tasty and inexpensive pub grub, highlighted by knockwurst steamed in beer ($5), French dip sandwiches ($6), and The Kiley (turkey, roast beef, and pastrami dripping with Russian dressing, $6.50), is served until 11pm.
