The Symphony Road Garden was built on a site where a home was razed by arson in the 1980's. Out of the ashes came a vibrant garden that serves a diverse group of over 50 residents of the East Fenway. It is a place for residents to relax, eat, and study. There is a wait list for each garden plot, as few spots are available each year. Also offers universal access to gardening with raised beds. The Symphony Gardens requests guests do not bring pets, pick fruits/vegetables, or leave any trash behind. If you would like to help maintain the gardens, feel free to attend Weeding Wednesdays from 6-8 pm.

When you walk into Tiny's Flowers and Balloons Gift Shop, the smell of fresh roses fills your nostrils! The shop is a full service flower shop that offers services such as Teleflora, FTD, and 1-800-Flowers. The flowers are extremely affordable (a dozen roses for under $20?!), not to mention fresh! Tiny's also has a great selection of helium balloons that you can order, as well as some already blown up, for those on the go. Tasteful gifts line the shelves, and the staff are very friendly. They will make you feel like you are their most important customer! One of the cool things about Tiny's is that if you are a student, you get a 10% discount on all products!
If you are in the Mission Hill area, definitly stop at Tiny's to get some flowers for that special someone--and if you are a college student, enjoy the discount! What more could you possibly ask for???
Tiny's Flowers & Balloons Gift Shop is open Monday through Thursday from 9-5, Friday from 8-6, and Saturday from 9-2. Tiny's is closed on Sundays.
The shop takes Discover, Master Card, Visa, American Express, and also offers a discount to AAA members!

Deluca's is the Back Bay grocery for your last minute items. The shop carried a small variety of most goods, but plan on paying a hefty fee for more grocery items. Downstairs has liquor, beer, and wine. (The staff have recommendation cards placed around the great wines). Upstairs there is a deli that makes a HUGE sandwich for a small price.
In the summer, there are tables and benches set up around the bundles of flowers for sale. Try and nab a table, sit back, and watch the passer-byers. While the setting is idillyic and the shop charming, don't expect a large variety of goods in the small store as well as high prices.
