Both bars feature something exciting every night, but the offerings vary monthly. The Rod's MANDANCE (Su 9pm) is an extreme, crowded, scantily dressed mass of male flesh swaying to pumping house. For those looking for a quality mix of clean yet dirty fun, Machine hosts good ol' fashioned foam parties Saturday nights during the summer, and karaoke Thursdays year-round. Other events include pool tournaments and leather and bondage nights. This Store 24 is a bit scary late at night - some "unsavory characters" frequent it. But in daylight, it offers all the things you expect in a convenience store at the slightly higher prices you also expect at a convenient store!

This is a liquor store plus (more than the average "packy"). Sort of a cross with a convenience store so you can pick up more of what you need besides the booze! They also act as a Western Union Agent location and can help you wire money.

Mission Hill Liquors is a very reasonably priced liquor store in Mission Hill. They have a good variety and are friendly. The store is relatively clean.
