Audubon Circle takes its name from the rotary that used to exist where Park Drive and Beacon Street came together, designed in 1887 by Frederick Law Olmsted. That traffic feature doesn't exist anymore, but luckily this charming bar and restaurant carries on the name. Very cozy atmosphere in this sister establishment to Miracle of Science.
The words An Tua Nua originates from the term "A New Beginning" in Gaelic. An Tua Nua is a new gathering place or focal point within the community for socializing and sharing stories, daily events, and in our case, great food with a great beverage. Creating a true and authentic environment is the hallmark of An Tua Nua. The idea is to bring the best of what Ireland has to offer to the States. An Tua Nua has done this by creating a true and authentic pub environment which brings the "Craic" of the Irish to the pubs. "Craic" (Pronounced crack) means a fun, friendly and exuberant atmosphere. Each night of the week we have something different planned, from Country Sundays, to Ceremony which is a Goth night on Monday nights, Wednesdays have both Salsa Dance Lessons and Karaoke, Thursday through Saturdays are Top 40, so come on by and experience a bit of Ireland in your own backyard located on block from Kenmore Square, and Fenway Park. Slainte.

They offer delivery and take-out. Mainly cater to the student crowd. Since it's a crepe cafe, I strongly suggest trying a crepe. Everything from breakfast crepes to delicious dessert crepes filled with nutella. Nice service and decently priced (8$ for a meal).
Originally called The Falafel Place, it reopened in 2007 with the new name, owned by it's neighboring Crispy Crepes Cafe. A nice alternative to the regular college grub. Food takes a while to cook so calling it in prior to pick-up is great if you are in a hurry. Offering Moroccan Specialities - including cous cous, falafel, shawarma, brochettes, roll-ups
Sol Azteca offers outdoor seating when the weather allows. Free chips and Salsa (all you can eat!). Short menu but full of great food-margaritas are renowned to be delicious. Not 100% authentic Mexican food but pretty gosh darn close to it.
Pizza/Italian restaurant that caters mostly to BU students. Delivers to BU area, but most business comes from walk ins/pick ups. You can also can order calzones, subs, sandwiches and salads (not their strong point. They have some really good deals, including $3.50 for a cheesburger and fries meal (tastier and cheaper than fast food restaurants).
Excellent Tapas if you can deal with (at times) poor service or a lengthy wait. It is a romantic atmosphere, best suited to 2 or at the most 4-6 people. Not ideal for large groups. I guess that the larger the group, the poorer the service, so keep this in mind. The price range for the items varies broadly as well, but the food is so authentic and amazing you will think that you have landed in Barcelona. Neither parking nor valet, but on street parking in the neighborhood behind is easy.
This chain is known for their great ice cream and smoothies. Started in Boston, they have fairly unique flavors and no singing scoopers (unlike the corporate entity across the street). This particular location is quite small (as are most of the downtown locations) but it's very convenient for those going to the movies or the surrounding stores.
