Adam's Pizza and Convenience Store is just that: a convenience store with a pizza shop inside. A little sketchy, and open late: Adam's draws a diverse crowd. However, he well serves the Faneuil Hall bar community at 2 am and serves slices at $2 a pop.

It’s often said that, in order to move forward you have to look to the past. This can definitely be said about the inspiration for Durty Nelly's, based on a real-life woman, Nelly O’Sullivan, who was a stall holder in the Coal Quay Market in Cork City, Ireland. Overflowing with Irish charm and hospitality, this is just the place to take a break from a hectic day or spend the night with good friends passing away the hours in great conversation. On the second floor a surprise awaits in the form of a luxurious 18th Century dining room with some of the best views of the Rose Kennedy Greenway. The dinner Menu will not just include specials but will, in fact, change every evening.
This is a teeny tiny place packed with cold cuts and cheeses, and Harry is just about the nicest guy with a cleaver in his hand that you could ever meet in your life! His prices are very reasonable, and the cheeses are lined up on the left as you walk in, with prices on the wheels. Don't be intimidated by either the greatness of the cheese, or by his gruff exterior. If you ask questions, and he will gladly give you samples and make suggestions. When you have made your decision, he wraps the cheese you have selected in wax paper, like the old days.
A Boston tradition since 1830. Haymarket is an open air fruit and vegetable market located every Friday and Saturday from sun up to sundown between the Haymarket T Station and the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway right outside of Faneuil Hall on Blackstone Street. Local markets and vendors line the cramped street selling everything from bananas and bread to specialty cheeses and seafood. Expect to see people from every walk of life and speaking every language come together on this one street grabbing their produce for the week from the same vendors that have been doing it for generations.
In the beginning, vendors' horse-and-wagon teams yielded to pushcarts, most of which were replaced by larger, tarp-covered wooden stands. Stand owners weren't sure they'd weather the East Boston tunnel in 1934, the construction of the Central Artery on top of them in the 1950s or the building of nearby Government Center a decade later. But they survived, just as the market lasted through a dozen years of the Big Dig and, now, the gentrification of the area thanks to the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Come armed with cash (single dollar bills appreciated) and the ability to be able to fight your way through the crowd.
Graffiti is a place for quick notes. Know the hours of a business but not sure where to put it? Did something just happen at this place? Leave some graffiti.
Sometimes street view does not point exactly to the right place. You may need to "drive around" a bit.
