Founded in 1979, the Boston Philharmonic performs in Jordan Hall, Symphony Hall, and in Sanders Theater (at Harvard). The Orchestra's season is from October through April. Most concerts also include a free pre-concert lecture from the conductor about an hour before the show. Call to subscribe or order tickets ($15-$76, season tickets $51-$243). Senior and student discounts available; student rush tickets ($5) available 1½hr before the show.
