Known for it's catering, Rebecca's Cafe also serves a limited breakfast and lunch menu. Tucked between an entrance to an underground parking garage and Skip Jacks, this is a hot spot for the corporate lunchers who want to grab a quick bite. Ready made salads and soups stand ready the ultra busy worker. You can also stand in the long line and get the staff to make whatever your heart desires. They close at an early 5 pm.
CED is one of the premier centers for executive education and "strategic change management" (they will teach you what that means). It was started by a former Harvard prof with a laundry list of experience.
This isn't your run of the mill, "anyone can join" type venture. They are looking for dedicated people on a parner/director career path who want the full array of executive business classes (marketing, operations, financial strategy, government, and business issues)
Providing casual wear, sporting clothing, and accessories. The store is pretty big for being on Boylston, and carries a wide range of brands and styles for a casual look. They offer coats year round, and a wall of shoes (sort of in the middle of the store) that will have any pair of feet happy campers. The staff is friendly, and will give you your space if you're not chatting up.

Let the door man usher you into bargain central. Two floors (men on the bottom- womens gear and house goods on the top) of discounted clothing. A great "Oh no! I forgot my umbrella/scarf/hat/shoes/hole in the skirt" types place to bounce in, not pay too much, and enjoy the discount. Not into spending paychecks on perfume and not too particular- try out some new perfume without making the investment. Not the original basement, but a great place to shop for discounts. The high end name brands move out quickly, so go often to check out new stock.

It may take a while, but if you sift through Marshalls' super-marked-down, first-hand items, you might come out with a gem, or a crick in your neck. They sell everything from suits and footwear to towels and bath products designed by big names like Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, and Ralph Lauren. Also at D'town Crossing (617-338-2605).

Tiffany's of Boston- Shreve Crump & Low sells high end diamonds, gems, jewlery, and watches. The hoity toity come from near and far to indulge in glamourous jewlery, dinnerware, and other expensive itesms. The store is currently undergoing a much needed renovations.
