Built in the 1830s, this wharf was originally a busy mooring area for working clipper ships. Today the ships that tie up at the wharf are mega-yachts for leisure, and the old warehouse buildings that stored goods have been converted into condominiums. The Harborwalk area has binoculars and benches where you can enjoy the panoramic view. Part of the Boston Harborwalk, a pedestrian path meant to revitalize and improve the enjoyment of Boston waterfront and promote its access to the public.
