You may remember Maison Robert the tres fancy French restaurant that occupied a corner of Old City Hall for many years? This is one of two new incarnations of that old standard -- a smaller and more intimate setting as it's name suggests. It has a sibling in the South End.
The chef and owner pride themselves in being a true French bistro, meaning a restaurant where your average Joe goes to eat. Lunch entrees are under $12 and dinner entrees are $20.

Sugardaddy's is a low-key kind of store. It's not surprising, given their bewildering selection of hand-blown glass “water-filtration pipes,” bowls, and more pipes ($80 to $3500 for a 3-ft. work of art). Jars of loose pipe tobacco, in flavors like Danish Pastry and Buttered Rum, sit behind the counter. If pipes aren't your thing, you could treat yourself to some luxury high-class cigars like Nat Sherman's and Romeo y Julietta, 15 varieties of clove cigs, and a unique selection of waterpipe travel pouches ranging from 46 inches to 3 feet in size ($6-60). Just don't forget your 18+ ID because you'll need it to purchase anything in this store.
