Flat of the Hill
The Flat of the Hill is one of the finest areas in Beacon Hill as it is made up by primarily bustling
Charles Street, quiet and elegant Brimmer Street, and other smaller and tucked away streets such as River, Otis Place, Lime, Beaver Place, and the bottom of Chestnut Street. The Flat of the Hill has some of the best shopping in the neighborhood as well as beautiful examples of classic architecture. Spend a day browsing a variety of shops such as
Koo De Kir for funky home goods, or
J.McLaughlin for your classic and preppy Beacon Hill attire. For the lovebirds, do not miss
French Dressing for naughty and nice lingerie. Hungry? Head on over to
The Paramount or
Beacon Hill Bistro for brunch,
75 Chestnut for the best burger around,
The Seven's for a beer and a bowl of chowder, or
Bin 26 Enoteca for a glass of wine and some tapas. For a little culture, stroll down Brimmer Street to check out
Church of the Advent to check out the gothic lines of their church, or head over to the
Hill House to check out the happenings of this bustling
Beacon Hill community center.
