Bikes galore—hanging from the walls and crowding the floor—meet the eye at Back Bay Bicycles, which specializes in mountain and touring bikes like Giant, Cannondale, Haro, GT, and Kona. New bikes ($250-6000) come with lifetime free service (including tune-ups and adjustments). Bike rentals are cash only (mountain hybrid $20/2hr, $30/day, $150/week; road bikes $25/2hr, $40/day, $200/week); call ahead to verify prices, as seasonal rates may increase.
