With 17 championships under their belt (and as of Spring of '08, working on their 18th), so great is the legacy of talent that the Celtics have retired nearly every natural uniform number to their rafters, leaving only negatives and fractions for the stars of tomorrow. The Original "Big 3" of the Celtics were Larry Bird, Robert Parish, and Kevin McHale. The newly christened "Big 3" are said to be Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce. Currently, in the Spring of 2008, they are in the Semi-finals for the NBA playoffs and are tied 2-2 with the Detroit Pistons. Tickets available through the Celtics ticket office (866-4CELTIX) or through TicketMaster with a surcharge.
