Conor Larkin's Grill & Tap

Conor's is one of Northeastern University's main campus bars. Until 9 pm, students over and under 21 can grab bar food for dinner together, then at 9, everyone starts getting carded. Since Boston can't discount alcohol, most bars' version of happy hour revolves around discounted appetizers--Conor's does this on Mondays and Fridays. Neighborhood hangout, plenty of tv screens, dark wood. Games like Bag Toss and Big Buck Hunter jumpstart competitions, while you can usually get a stack of shotglasses from behind the bar to play quarters at your own table. Careful going up and down the stairs (Conor's is subterranean) after a few beers....
