During the summer, the Copley Square fountain comes to life adding some awe-inspiring drama to an already picturesque part of town. Next to two cute statues of the tortoise and hare, children dip their feet in this playful public space (parents beware, however, the public fountain isn't chlorinated).
During the off-season, the concrete pit becomes a haven for displaced skateboarders trying to grind and perfect their ollies. However, it's during the summer months when this Copley Square must-see becomes a functional piece of public art.
