Floyd's is a large location rock n roll themed barbershop on Mass Ave. Don't be fooled by their name, they provide a traditional offering of hair cutting, barbering, and color services to both men and women. The first of its kind in Boston, Floyd's boasts a massaging shampoo and relaxing shoulder and neck massage with all services, in addition to signature hot lather face and neck shaves and professional color services. The prices aren't advertised too clearly so if you have questions, ask before you sit down. Also ask about student discounts - sometimes you can get a 25$ cut! They don't really take appointments, but you can call in 30 minutes before you show up to put your name down for the stylist you want (recommended, though sometimes there's a wait). And don't forget you can make requests for the music they play, and there's both internet kiosks and free wifi available while you're waiting. Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
