Cheap Sicilian slices that are in very high demand. This is because the pizza is made in the morning by Ralph and John for a few hours on weekdays, and when it's all sold out they close up shop. Crazy lines, but the turnover is quick. The décor isn't much to talk about, it's more like 'early lunchroom cafeteria' but the crowds that gather before they open up don't seem to mind one bit. They also have a short menu of calzones and subs, but the pizza is what everyone wants.

There really isn't an adjective good enough for Umberto. The food is basic - there's maybe 7 things on the menu. But each of them is fantastic. Calzones, Sicilian pizza, arancini - it's all to die for. And the prices are so low you wonder how they make it. Actually, there's always a line and it's 2 guys at the counter -- so you wait awhile but it is soooo worth it. This is one of those places only locals know about and it is just to good to be true - hey, why am I telling you about it??

This place is straight out of a movie. They only open for 2 hours during the day and only sell slices of pizza. However, their product is so good, that the demand is there and their large space on Hanover is flocked to on a daily basis!

Love Galleria Umberto although finding parking there can be challenging as well as escaping parking fines. Who can even remember where you parked your vehicle.
