Paul Revere House

Downtown Boston's oldest structure (built in 1680), this demure, seemingly unremarkable house was home to everyone's favorite night rider from 1770 to 1800 and was the starting point of his legendary nocturnal gallop to Lexington. Signs lead visitors on a self-guided tour through meticulously recreated 18th- and early 19th-century rooms, chock full with Revere family possessions and era ambience. Conveniently located on the Boston Freedom Trail. Admission $3, students and seniors $2.50, children 5-17 $1, under 5 free.
