The Shops at Prudential Center

Glass-paneled walls, high angular ceilings, and pseudo-marble floors might make you think you're inside some sort of futuristic Apley Court. “The Pru” has the essentials (except a music store) for the binging shopaholic: restaurants, an expansive food court, and the traditional fashion staples. Mainstays include Lacoste, Club Monaco, Express Men, and Ann Taylor, and while these shops aren't as hoity-toity as those at the adjoining Copley Place, the massive Saks Fifth Avenue keeps them at least somewhat toity. Also crowding the wide and spotless corridors of the mall are more than 20 novelty carts offering everything from Elvis ties to Mickey Mouse socks—basically nothing you'd actually want to buy—plus 12 free Internet kiosks. The Pru also features the most accessible Cheesecake Factory, another Legal Seafoods, and Top of the Hub. There are also spots for bicycle parking in the Orange level of the parking garage.
