I'm a New Yorker with historic, sentimental, and family ties to Boston. Fond memories of graduate school at BU, waitressing on Newbury Street, shopping the automatic markdowns at
Filene's Basement (back when it was still owned by Filenes!).
These days I'm a confirmed Manhattanite on weekdays and rural upstate New Yorker (Columbia County) on weekends. But I still like keeping my finger on the pulse of Boston.
And I have a dog named Phoebe. She's a
Schnoodle.
My favorite Boston restaurant these days is
Harvest in Cambridge. My favorite park (outside of the
Place des Vosges in Paris) is, of course,
Boston Common. Favorite Boston Hotel is the
Ritz-Carlton (what can I say, I like my comfort). My computer is an
iMac and as for cars - these days it's all about
hybrids.
