Newbury Street is a shopping mecca. Often referred to as Boston's version of Rodeo Drive, the street is a combination of exquisite specialty shops (Dress, Stil Clothing), spas (Emerge, Beaucage Salon & Spa) , and all different kinds of restaurants (Capital Grille, Sonsie, and Tapeo Restaurant and Tapas Bar). Crowded in the summer with the tourists sampling one of the many ice cream shops (J.P. Licks or Emack & Bolio's Ice Cream), and sparkling in the winter from the locals hanging holiday lights - Newbury is the Back Bay's ideal street.
The intersecting streets are in ascending alphabetical order from East to West (between Boston Public Gardens and Mass Ave )
This is a great site (other than povo of course!) that gives details about businesses on Newbury. Be sure to double check phone numbers and addresses as it can sometimes be off. That aside, a great resource for Bostonians and tourists!
