The famous Old South Church was opened in 1875 and was one of the first United Churches of Christ in Boston. Architecturally the church has gone through many faces and improvements in its Venetian Gothic style, and is one of the most highly visited churches in the city today. It is a National Historic Landmark building, and proudly welcomes the LGBT community to its worship services.
