Thornton's is a bar and grill that offers American food on a block known for its restaurant diversity: Boston: Peterborough Street. Though traditional, the menu is large - guests can choose from a number of appetizers, burgers, salads, sautees, and fish entrees - and the food is excellent. Vegetarians are catered to, with portions of the menu highlighting meatless options, and some of their meatless items are their best - try the hummus! Weather permitting, you can sit outside and sip on a beer - domestics cost $3, and draft beers like Samuel Adams Boston Lager and Harpoon IPA only cost $3.75. Though it's a bit of a hike from the park, Thorton's Fenway Grill is a great place to go before or after a game. Street parking is permit only for the most part, so circling the block 3-4 times is usually to be expected, but there is a covered lot nearby: Boston:Deaconess Garage
