This Starbucks opened in 2007 and has an interesting layout. On the weekends, it tends to be pretty laid back. Not sure if the weekdays are any different, with the commuters. The baristas here tend to be very good.

Fresh City is on the Concourse Level of the Landmark Center,directly above Best Buy. This chain restaurant aims to be healthier than its fast food competitors while also providing a huge array of delicious choices. They have an ample salad bar that would satisfy even the most discerning of vegetarians, as well as some fare for the less calorie conscious eaters. Aside from leafy greens and veggies, Fresh City also offers sandwiches, stir fry, pizza, fried rice, breakfast items, as well as a smoothie bar. As their name suggests, Fresh City prides themselves in the quality of their ingredients and strives to offer as many organic and all-natural options as possible.
Fresh City also offers great catering for business meetings and other functions. Their sandwich platter is a great option when you have a lot of guests with dietary restriction or with finicky taste buds.

A newcomer to the fast food market, UFood (Formerly "Know Fat!") is a "lifestyle grill". You can have a bacon cheeseburger -- but it's lean beef, turkey bacon and fat free cheese on a whole wheat bun, my friend. They are conveniently located directly next door to the movie theater in the Landmark Center, so if you're hungry on the way to see a flick but don't want to feel guilty about it, UFood might be a solid choice. Some of UFood's selections are actually pretty delicious despite their very low calorie content, while others can be underwhelming. Their french fries are a light and crispy treat, but some of their burgers leave much to be desired. Nonetheless, their prices are fair and their portions are generous. UFood might not be everyone's cup of tea, but their food is sufficient when you're in a rush but don't want fast food.

A famous watering hole, often featured in live camera shots during crucial Red Sox games. The Cask 'n Flagon is where Red Sox nation gathers to celebrate or commiserate. Recently featured in the Reebok ad that debuted during the 2007 World Series - Donny Wahlberg sat at the bar here, and Bobby Orr walked by too. Those heading to a game can save a few bucks by filling up on the Cask's straightforward bar fare and skipping the ballpark's expensive snacks. The walls are lined with high-definition TVs and photos that depict the histories of Fenway and the Sox. Locals fill the huge wraparound bar that resides in the middle of the main room while keeping an eye on all the sports news via an ever-present sports ticker. The Cask has some of the city's most aggressive bouncers--be on your best behavior.
