Featuring almost 80 orchards, Povo.com has already attracted hundreds of online users since launching over the weekend looking for a family-friendly alternative to celebrate the season in New England without venturing too far from home.

Outside.in just put out a report on top blogs in Boston and Povo.com made it. The tracking site analyzed data from over 4,000 blogs that provide feeds to the outside.in site and based on variables that included total number of posts, location of posts, links from other sites in the community identified Povo.com as a top blog in the Boston area.

In a recent article called "Blogging the world, from wheelchair's view," Boston Globe reporter Emily Sweeney discusses Povo.com's collaboration with TheTravelingWheelchair.com.
Sweeney writes, "The blog also caught the eye of Povo.com, a local start-up that's producing a Wikipedia-style guide to places around Boston. The company's CEO wants to compile a list of places that have received five-star ratings from the TheTravelingWheelchair.com and feature them on Povo.com."
