Our First Neighborhood Ambassador

Boston’s neighborhoods are as unique as the people who live and work in them. We picked Jed as our first neighborhood ambassador because he possesses a unique understanding—and appreciation—of a specific Boston neighborhood. That neighborhood is, of course, the Fenway. We are proud to share Jed’s insights with the Povo community.

My Neighborhood: Fenway

As you might imagine, my role with the Red Sox means that I spend a lot of time around Fenway Park. Povo gives me a place to share the in-depth knowledge I have about this neighborhood with anyone and everyone in Boston. Here are a few of my recent contributions.
  • I rated Twins on Yawkey Way 5 stars because they have some of the best Red Sox stuff around.
  • I added the tag "breakfast" to Game On because a lot of people don’t know that they recently started opening for breakfast.
  • I added a listing for The Sausage Guy because he is a Fenway institution and Povo wouldn’t be complete without him.
  • I made an edit to the Fenway neighborhood page to reflect my view that Fenway will soon to be one of Boston’s next "hot" neighborhoods.
  • Although I mostly park my car at the ballpark, I can use Povo to search for parking garages when I need to find a spot in another part of the neighborhood.
