Sustainable Braintree is planning a Farmers Market to run on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm beginning June 27, 2009 and running through October 31, 2009.
The Market will be situated on the newly refurbished Braintree Town Hall Mall on Washington Street which is in the town’s historic district. This convenient, central location is less than 1/4 mile off Route 3, near the Braintree split, and walking distance from the MBTA station.
Their mission:
  • To provide fresh, local produce directly from farmers to residents;
  • To support our local farming industry’s ability to remain healthy and sustainable;
  • To educate our community about healthy eating, maintaining a healthy environment and sustainable living;
  • To provide a weekly social experience to enhance our Braintree community.
